Akar Bahar is one of the prized wood to be used for a hulu keris. This is a birthday gift from my brother, Alfi. Thank you very much dear Alfi. Even before opening it from the wrapper, just from the feel, I knew what it was but I had to open it as he had insisted. I still feel very guilty and not worthy of this priced piece. Usually akar bahar is light but this is heavy as it has some stones grown into the wood. Would have cost him a bomb to purchase it
The hulu has gone to my daughters keris
Also with the hulu, I was presented with a Porsche key ring for my humble classic car
