Grill Lamb Chop and Fish Filet

As usual my Sunday morning objective on 17 August 2014 was what to cook for lunch for the family. Decided on Lamb Chop and Dory Filet. Just to share with readers my recipe.

Get ready the pestle and mortar

Few sticks of Cinnamon and Cumin seeds

Pounded

Coat lightly with Curry Powder the Dory Filet

Rub in the spices and chill in fridge for 2 hours

Lamb chop marinate with Heinz BBQ sauce and chill in fridge for 2 hours. I only found out last week that Lamb is Kambing and Mutton is Sheep. Previously, I received so much misinformation on this issue. So, if you want soft tender meet go for Lamb

All three burners running at the same time as lunch will need to be ready on the table by 1.00pm

The final product, Grill Dory Filet

Fries. You can see that its not drenched in oil and the color is a very light brown and not golden. Why? Its because I boiled the fries first and thereafter, fried them in very little oil. This is the result. A much healthier fries and quite good tasting as well

The Lamb Chops, all done

Close up. Yummy

Served on a Pike plate from Germany. Purchased from a Cookery Collector
