Fuza's Briyani

Our outing to Tesco @ Scott Garden , No.289, Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur 58100 on 15 April 2014 .

We found this little joint inside Tesco called Fuza's Briyani. We stumbled in around dinner time and the joint was rather quiet but the food we had was pleasing. Service was fast. As you can see from the photo's below, seating is ample and comfortable. Ambiance is rather cozy since it was almost empty.

The joint is about 30 meters away from the main entrance of Tesco supermarket. You can even see the cashiers booths from the eatery

Seating is comfortable. All wooden chairs/tables unlike some joints providing plastic chairs or wood vernier furniture's

Beverage we ordered Sirap Bandung Special. Consisting of Rose Syrup, Ice Cream Soda, Black and Red Cincau and Water. My verdict, nice, refreshing, but with the small straw provided, the cincau gets stuck disturbing the flow of the drink to quench your thirst. But personally, I think JM Briyani's Sirap Bandung Special is much tastier. This was a tad watery and lacked the extra umphhhh. RM4.00.

Mee Bandung Muar. The dish came in a nice clay pot. Verdict, was tasty, you can smell the belacan and seafood concoction. The soup was not too thick but just nice. The mee was fresh and springy, not soggy. RM6.60. One bowl will not do. They were not stingy with the fillings either, there was ample squid, prawns and beef cubes, considering the price.

Also has Briyani Gam Ayam. What can I say. It is very different compared to the other briyani I had tasted elsewhere. The rice was fragrant and very fluffy. The chicken melts in your mouth. The aroma of spices emitted from the rice was just mouth watering. At RM11.90 with a free drink of mineral water accompanied, it is indeed money well spent. The chicken is so tender and tasty but a bit small, leaving wanting for more.

The total bill. Note no tax merely service charge of 10%.
