French Fries Indian Style

All of us around the world had had french fires, be it home made, supermarket frozen bought or McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Manhattan Fish Market, Fish & Co and etc. Check our my french fries, Indian Style. Trust me the picture does not do justice. If you would like something different, spicy, aromatic and full of taste in every bite, then give it a try. Remember each persons taste buds are different so express caution with the ingredients.

This is my twist to the classic french fries, Indian Sytle

If you would like to give it a try, here's the recipe.  Feeds One.

2 Big Russel Potatoes. Leave the skin on. Wash them clean and cut into large strips. I prefer chunky in size.

Place in a large bowl the cut french fries and mix in curry powder and pink sea salt. Use your fingers to mix and ensure that all fries are equally coated.

Thereafter deep fry your french fries in oil.

While it is cooking, cut into slices One Holland onion, One small piece of garlic and fresh rosemary.

Once the fries has been cooked remove it from the oil and stir fry it in a different wok with a little oil together with the cut onion, chopped garlic and fresh rosemary.

When the aroma of the onion and garlic rises and fills the air, you're done and the fries can be removed from the wok and placed on an paper napkin to remove excess oil, before being consumed.

If your nose is not up to the task, just don't burn the onions. Once the onions and garlic are a tad darker brown, it can be removed from the wok together with the onions.

While its still hot on the plate, sprinkle a little crushed black pepper.

The fries can be eaten dipped with mayonnaise and tomato sauce. Enjoy.
