La Bodega, Empire Subang

We went to this Spanish Tapas & Lounge bar months ago but I did not have the time to post it.

Hence I don't remember the names of the dishes ordered but the total bill was almost RM300 due to the fresh oysters available

For a lack of a better Taman Name

Pity the residents here. I'm staying in Wall Park, if direct English translation

Swing

I got this idea when passing through villages where I saw them hanging swings from trees.

I just added a white pole to give strength to the structure of the tree branch

Kids Bow and Arrow

This is one way of pulling them away from the ipad.

Find new and exciting toys for them to play develop other coordination skills

Purchased these bow and arrows from a handicraft shop. The arrow head is rubber but looks super real

The shop also had this sepak takraw. This is the first time I am seeing a version such as this with another ball build on the inside

Excavation Prehistoric Bones Tyrannosaurus Rex

Purchased this Edu Science, Wacky Lab Excavation kit for Prehistoric bones of Tyrannosaurus Rex at RM79.95 at Toys R Us

The kit comes with cement block containing the fossil, goggles, chisel, nail and brush

The instruction guide

My young fossil hunter

The chipping and hammering process begins

Seeing that this is a cement block, ensure that your flooring is amply covered with newspaper to ease your cleaning later. Once, a fossil is detected, use the brush to unearth it

The neighbor kids decided to join in the fun. Ensure that you have change of clothes on standby. You can view from the picture, the amount of dust from the cement

Once all the fossil are unearth, wash them in water to remove any traces of cement

This is the final assembled product

Old China Coolie Rice Bowl

I would like to share this unique and elegant old china coolie bowl used for dining.

I purchased it from Sifu Bob T. C. Chew at Eastern Stamps Coins & Antiques in Berjaya Times Square.

According to Sifu Bob, it belongs to his parents and is over a 100 years old

For your viewing pleasure

Nautilus

Although nautilus has been around for millions of years there has been no extensive research done on this amazing animals.

Remaining relatively unchanged for millions of years are often considered "living fossils."

Nautilus are only found in the Indo-Pacific (Indian Ocean region) and they inhabit several hundred meters in the deep slopes of coral reefs.

There is some living nautilus that can be viewed in Aquaria.

Here are some of the shells that I had managed to purchase for my own collection.

The one on the left had been polished. It has a pearl life finishing. Right is the original shell
