Swatch Wall Clock

I would like to share our living room wall clock. We wanted something different. Something that will stand out in a crowd. The plan was initially to get an antique wall clock but we settled on a Swatch Wall Clock.

We recently had a small gathering in our family home and as expected, one of the main attraction was the Swatch wall clock. I spend quite a lot of time explaining on the many queries posed

Oasis, Sunway Lagoon Club

We recently were privileged enough to become members of the prestigious Sunway Lagoon Club. The club has a well equipped gym, adults and kids pool, jacuzzi, squash, badminton and tennis courts, library, kids play room and sauna. Well, you can already guess what we did as our family outing on 3 January 2015. Morning session was swimming and afternoon was lunch whacking session at Oasis, the local eatery inside the Club.   

Wifi is Club wifi but was down for the day.

Chinese Fried Rice. Very delicious. Ample serving and not stingy with the mix vegetables and chicken chunks. RM6.90

Hotplate Tofu RM12.80. Soft and fluffy tofu with delicious oyster sauce gravy. Filled with ample pieces of minced meat 

Sambal Long Beans. Smell of belacan is not overpowering, simply great. RM12.50

Stir fried Kai-lan. RM10.50

Fried Egg RM10.50

Curry Chicken RM18.80

Fried Tofu RM15.90. This is a must have. One of the softest Tofu that I have ever tasted 

Magnum Gold. Desert. RM4.90

Godzilla

Godzilla 

After unearthing of 2 chrysalises in a mine in the Philippines. From the pods came two giant radiation eating creatures, known as "MUTOs", which cause great damage in Japan, Hawaii and the United States. Their awakening stirs Godzilla, whose existence has been kept secret by the U.S. government since 1954. That is the premise for the new Godzilla movie in 2014.

It is by far the best Godzilla movie to date. 

Known in Japan as Gojira. It is described as a cross between a gorilla and a whale. Alluding to its ginormous size, power and aquatic origin.

Godzilla's signature weapon is its "atomic breath," a nuclear blast that it generates inside of its body. Its dorsal fins lights up ominously from its tail to its head before unleashing from its jaws blue radioactive heat ray that could pulverize a city. 

Godzilla does not like humans but will fight alongside humanity against common threats. However, it makes no special effort to protect human life or property.

I'm glad to say that the new Godzilla movie stays true to its origin and its a blast.

One of Godzilla foe is Mothra. (The beautiful gigantic butterfly). The Godzilla, MUTO, Mothra, Buildings and small helicopter seen here is the Bandai version 

Is the suffixation of Moth and adding "ra". In Japan its known as Mosura. Its basically an  colorful enormous size moth.

It is portrayed as a giant insect that lives on a tropical island, where it is worshiped as a deity. It is a peaceful character that only fights to protect itself, its allies or the earth. It is usually accompanied by miniature twin fairies, who summon it into battle by singing a prayer (Mosura No Uta

The Neca Godzilla with Hasbro Transformers Grimlock

Thye Hong, Pavilion Fried Carrot Cake and Omelet Oyster

I must thank my lovely wife for yesterdays scrumptious dinner. Thye Hong is located at the food court of Pavilion shopping center  

The counter is nothing much to look at but you will be surprised by the quality of food

Fried Carrot Cake. It not only looks yummy but taste yummy too. As you can see, beautifully wrapped around with eggs. RM9.00

Omelet Oyster. This is not only the bomb but also smells good to. RM14.00

Adding chili paste just brings up the food another notch

Carrot Cake was soft and brilliant. Each bite burst with flavor and the egg just makes the dish that more tasty. The Oyster was cooked mildly, hence not spoiling the "sea" taste deliciously associated with fresh oysters. The paste or batter used to make the starch for the Oyster Omelet was equally soft almost towards gooey. This combination just made the omelet the bomb and I savored each bite.

To me this meal must be eaten with chili paste and chopsticks

A Fantastic Outing in Sunway Pyramid

This outing was on 6 November 2014.We started by having an early lunch at Nando's. I had noticed that this Nando is rather different in its interior decor. My wife, who is friends with their GM had mention that this is their flagship outlet and that the GM had wanted to make a bold statement. I feel that he had succeed.

Their Tea is served in elegant Gold plated Tea Pot, which can keep the Tea hot for 45 minutes. It's for sale for about RM1,000+.
